SCOPE OF POSITION

Under the direction of the Vice President of IT and working in with selected IT Systems Integration (SI) partners, and cloud solution providers, and business leaders, support the business applications guiding growth and strategies.Develop and enforce transformation of business and IT capabilities to achieve a cloud based operating environment.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Strategic planning and tactical enhancement of business applications and infrastructure environments with the goal of transforming to 100% cloud-based solutions.Interact as change agent and influencer with business unit leaders, internal Business Applications managers, and strategic business solutions partners (i.e., cloud solution providers).Document business requirements, specifications, operational workflows in the form of Use Cases and test cases.Design, develop, communicate, and execute technology implementation and deployment plans including, unit, system and end-to-end testing of business applications and infrastructure changes.Work with business users in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and sign-off of all business applications and infrastructure changes.

Align, coordinate, and collaborate with business unit leaders to ensure IT solutions, infrastructure plans and capabilities support, and keep pace with the evolving business and applications roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Performance

  • Perform business and systems analysis work; conduct requirements gathering / analysis via information gathering sessions with business users and technical staff.
  • Assist business team in the creation of requirements documentation that can include use cases, process flows, and system interface diagrams.
  • Consult with business users to improve adoption and efficient use of all systems related to Microsoft D365 Finance and Operation job functions.
  • Create and manage workflows in D365 as they pertain to business process.
  • Design and implement integrations between D365 Microsoft D365 Finance and Operation and external systems.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans with users, coordinate test activities and / or help execute test components.
  • Communicate effectively with business users on the status of enhancements and projects.

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft D365 in an Analyst/Functional role.
  • Proven ability to provide business analysis and/or system development/configuration deliverables related to process improvement.
  • Experience with a software and systems development life cycle, Waterfall and or Agile.
  • Experience with or the following systems and/or processes is a required:
  • Microsoft Dynamics Finance and operations

Experience with or the following systems and/or processes is a plus:

  • eCommerce platform shopifyplus
  • Microsoft D365 Certification(s)
  • Implementation/Operational experience with Manhattan WMS, SCALE
