Koch Technology Solutions (KTS) is the world's leading licensor of a growing process technology portfolio, focusing on the Polyester, Nylon and Polyurethane value chains. KTS has over 50 years of continuous licensing experience with a global team of experts who develop and transfer process technology. The newest addition to our process technology involves extracting lithium from brine (Direct Lithium Extraction) to support the growing need for energy storage.

KTS in the UK is based at the Wilton Centre, a large science and business park ten minutes from Middlesbrough with an on-site restaurant, gym and landscaped grounds including a lake.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with IT Teams and business partners on transformation projects, providing analysis, driving experiments, and suggesting solutions.
• Capture business requirements and user stories, map business processes, and develop functional specifications.
• Execute against a prioritized backlog to deliver highest value initiatives aligned with business strategies.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for engineering processes with the ability to provide support and training.
• Communicate effectively with business partners, IT teams and Leadership on status, risks, and roadblocks, and help team members to overcome obstacles.
• Reduce reliance on customer applications and minimize development footprint while meeting business needs.
• Stay current on technologies and best practices to leverage the best knowledge for success.
• Research and analyze third-party products that may add value to the business.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in Engineering & Design Industry (Domain), Information Technology, or Business Operations.
• Self-motivation and the persistence to create value through work process transformation.
• A positive attitude and innovative thinking skills to turn the impossible into capability.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and define business requirements through system analysis.
• Strong Collaboration and economic thinking skills with ability to work within global cross functional teams.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Bachelor’s degree with Technology focus or relevant experience in a process technology or detailed engineering organization.
• Experience collaborating with software vendors to solve business needs.
• Experience with SQL, Python, and VBA languages.
• Experience with analytics tools and concepts such as Data lakes and/or Power BI.
