Business Support Team Manager

Location: Bristol, UK (Hybrid). In this position, you'll be based in the Bristol office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week.

We give you a world of potential. The Business Support Team Manager will be responsible for driving the day-to-day execution and coordination of operational business support processes within the GEC department.

A role you will love. As the Business Team Manager, you will work closely with the global GEC Management team to ensure seamless and aligned operations across all regions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage financial processes and operational reporting, overseeing the financial operations and reporting processes within the Global Entity Compliance (GEC) framework.
  • Lead client and vendor onboarding processes in collaboration with the Operations Director.
  • Implement and champion the streamlining and standardisation of operational processes across the team.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing a future-ready operations model from the ground up.
  • Manage day-to-day priorities while providing coaching and mentorship to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative approach across the global teams and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support the operational delivery of compliance and governance projects.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Experience in managing a small team within a similar Business Support or operations function.
  • High level of proficiency with PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Highly effective communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and track record of producing high quality work.
  • Resilient and composed under pressure.
  • Organised, proactive, self-motivated, take ownership/responsibility for own work and work of others.
  • Strong written English, numeric, analytical and comprehension skills.
  • IT skills including experience of document management and data entry using a variety of technology systems.
