  • Handling inbound emails from strategic partners and third parties.
  • Quality assuring and submitting applications / correspondence through ELLIS.
  • Adhering to GDPR and Safeguarding Policy.

Migrant Help has an exciting opportunity to recruit a Business Support Team Administrator to join our team!

Location: Homebased

Contract: 6 month fixed term (with potential to be extended or made permanent)

Salary: £25,710 - increasing to £28,670 following successful completion of a 6 month probation period

The Business Support Team Administrator Role

Part of the Business Support team, the Administrator is a rewarding role at Migrant Help which forms part of the Advice, Issue Reporting and Eligibility (AIRE) contract. You will provide professional administration support on a day-to-day basis to various departments within the AIRE service such as record keeping, data entry, and inbox management. You will contribute to the overall success of the Organisation in accordance with Migrant Help's aims and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing and maintaining an efficient up to date recording and monitoring system and assist with data entry
  • Keeping full accurate and up-to-date records and complete case follow-ups within the requisite time scales and undertake any necessary administrative tasks in relation to the work
  • Liaising with the other AIRE departments and teams regarding completed and returned documentation
  • Handling inbound emails from strategic partners and third parties, effectively addressing and processing the query e.g. submitting a Change of Circumstance application, uploading supporting documents etc. and responding setting out the action taken
  • Quality assuring and submitting applications / correspondence through ELLIS
  • Adhering to GDPR and Safeguarding Policy, handling safeguarding cases notified via inboxes in accordance with agreed process

Safeguarding and Vetting

  • This post is subject to a Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) therefore applicants must:
    • Be able to provide a valid passport (e.g. 10 year full British passport, EU or non-EU Passport with indefinite leave to remain)
    • Be able to provide continuous UK address history for the previous 5 years
    • Provide full employment history for the previous 3 years and/or suitable documentation to cover any gaps in employment
