A leading maritime organization is seeking a Business Support Officer for Operational Planning in Harwich. The role involves supporting the planning of marine assets to ensure safe navigation around the coast. The ideal candidate will have excellent IT and communication skills, as well as financial experience. This position offers a salary range of £26,631 - £28,229 for a 37-hour work week.

As our Business Support Officer, you'll be at the heart of providing our marine aids to navigation services through supporting the planning of our marine and aviation assets to keep a wide range of buoys, lighthouses and light vessels fully operational, playing a key role in keeping shipping safe around our coasts.
You'll be a great organiser, playing a key role in keeping a vital 24/7/365 service running effectively and efficiently through supporting a team of expert marine and aviation planners and operations officers. Adept at providing business and management support to a busy team, you'll be comfortable organising and coordinating a wide range of functions as well as being a great communicator in liaising with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
