Overview

Business Support Officer-Operational Planning – Permanent – Harwich. Salary: £26,631.00 - £28,229.00 per annum (Successful candidates will be appointed on the starting salary of this range). 37 hours per week

Responsibilities

As our Business Support Officer, you'll be at the heart of providing our marine aids to navigation services through supporting the planning of our marine and aviation assets to keep a wide range of buoys, lighthouses and light vessels fully operational, playing a key role in keeping shipping safe around our coasts.

You'll be a great organiser, playing a key role in keeping a vital 24/7/365 service running effectively and efficiently through supporting a team of expert marine and aviation planners and operations officers. Adept at providing business and management support to a busy team, you'll be comfortable organising and coordinating a wide range of functions as well as being a great communicator in liaising with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Level 2 qualifications in relevant functional skills
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office products
  • Good written and oral communication skills coupled with financial and budgeting experience
