We are looking to appoint a professional, experienced and highly motivated Business Support Officer to work within our friendly primary school.

The successful candidate will set themselves high standards and demonstrate excellent communication and inter-personal skills; as well as excellent IT skills.
You will support the School Business Manager to deliver high quality business support function including working on specific projects to enhance the business support service and through a range of duties which include:

  • Liaise effectively with staff, students, parents and other agencies as required.
  • Have recent experience of working in an office environment.
  • Be extremely organised and able to self-manage.
  • Role model a high level of customer care to ensure parents, stakeholders and visitors to the school receive an excellent service.
  • Demonstrate initiative.
  • Have excellent standards of numeracy and literacy.
  • Have experience of financial and management information systems.
  • Be sensitive and confidential when handling school information and data.
  • Take and prepare minutes for governor committee meetings.


To commence 1st September 2025. 25 hours per week, term time only. Ideally: 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 8.30am – 12.00pm, Tuesday and Thursday. There may be some flexibility around this working pattern.
