The Role

The Aspire Federation is seeking to appoint a forward-thinking Business Support Officer within HR. The role will mainly consist of a range of administrative, financial and IT based tasks. The successful candidate will assist the HR Manager in all HR administration which includes, recruitment processes, reference collating, interview invites, logging and reporting staff absences, staff absence insurance claims, service rewards plus other-directed tasks.

The applicant will play a key role in the Federation Wellbeing Group which will include arranging meetings, taking minutes and organising staff events. The applicant will need to provide high quality HR support and have the ability to work under pressure to completing priorities and demands.

The role requires excellent numerical, written, verbal and technological skills together with advanced organisational skills to ensure deadlines required by a statutory process are met. You must be able to work on your own initiative and provide an excellent level of customer service. The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills, be a flexible team player and will be able to work at pace with excellent attention to detail.

The Aspire Federation will have four sites based in Hindley, Bryn, Abram and Leigh from September 2025. Whilst the post will initially be based at one site, please be advised that the post holder may be required to work across all of the federated sites
