Business Support Officer Administrator
We are looking for 2 part-time candidates to support the following teams:
The Newcastle Careers Team offers careers advice and guidance to young people, supporting them into education, training, or employment. This role involves contacting young people using a variety of means (telephone calls, texts, email) to check their current education, training, or employment situation and signposting to the team for support if required. This may also involve contacting parents or carers.
This role will include data input and record maintenance to ensure that client records are up to date, accurate, and of the required standard. Candidates will need excellent communication and IT skills; accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
The post-holder will work 22.12 hrs per week, and the hours of work will be from 1.30 pm until 7 pm, although there is some flexibility over how this will be worked.
The second post is supporting the Access and Inclusion Service. The post-holder will need to have excellent IT skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. They will need to have experience in data input and excellent communication skills. The post is 22.12 hrs per week, and the hours of work are negotiable.
The posts will work from home and in the office at the Civic Centre. IT equipment will be provided, and full training will be given.
