We have an opportunity for a Business Support Officer within Children’s Services. This exciting post will be working within our new ‘One Children’s Service’ which encompasses both Education and Social Care. As such, there will be a huge variety in terms of duties to be undertaken and knowledge gained from within a forward-thinking and highly supportive team.

The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of the service and have good administrative skills, including IT, minute taking, and general office administration. A sound knowledge of Microsoft applications would be an advantage. In addition to this the candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise work, be organised and committed to providing an excellent service in a challenging and fast paced environment.

The successful candidate will benefit from working with a highly supportive and encouraging team. They will gain the opportunity of choosing a hybrid working model with the flexibility to accommodate home / office working, alongside a generous annual leave entitlement, and the Councils flexi scheme.
