A County Council in England is seeking a temporary administrative assistant to support the Educational Psychology Service until August 2026. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, IT proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include processing invoices, attending meetings, and providing support for Educational Psychology reports. A flexible approach and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Business and Executive Support is a central business support function aligned to meet the requirements of Staffordshire County Council and to support the organisation as it evolves. This post holder will support the Children & Families team, which provides support across various areas and service managers.
We have one fixed-term vacancy until 31.08.2026 to support the busy Educational Psychology Service.
The role involves adapting to changing demands, requiring effective and accurate communication with a wide range of internal and external customers, along with extensive use of the Microsoft Office suite.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will support by:
Additional duties include filing, photocopying, postal duties, word processing, preparing and distributing paperwork, and liaising with customers, contractors, and partners.
Flexibility, problem-solving skills, confidentiality, good listening skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential for this role.
