Business Support Officer

Location: Council Offices, Frensham Street, SE156TH
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: GBP 18.26 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to undertake a variety of responsibilities in support of our repairs department and yard operations. The successful candidate will be expected to:
  • Provide comprehensive IT and office support.
  • Confidently drive a 3.5 tonne mobile office/van for the purpose of transporting colleagues to various events throughout the week.
  • Manage logistics related to event setups and equipment transportation.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute general administrative tasks to support the repairs team.
  • Ensure the mobile office/van is maintained and ready for use at all times.
  • Assist with scheduling and logistical planning for events and repairs activities.

Person Specification:
  • Proficient in IT and office management systems.
  • Confident and experienced in driving large vehicles, specifically a 3.5 tonne van.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible with working hours and able to adapt to changing schedules.
