Annual salary: up to £28,917.00

Business Support Officer

Location: Hammersmith & Fulham

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £28,350 per annum

About the Role:

The Business Support Officer reports primarily to the General Manager and works closely with Supervisors and Administrators.

  • Manage control and audit of van stocks, fleet, plant, and waste disposal activities.
  • Handle office administration and health & safety compliance.
  • Support onboarding and induction processes for new employees.
  • Organize toolbox talks and ensure they are scheduled in employees' diaries.
  • Coordinate health & safety training and ensure completion.
  • Scan and store compliance documents.
  • Order office supplies and uniforms.

Role Criteria:

  • Experience working in an office environment.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a busy setting.
  • Proven multitasking skills in challenging environments.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Punctuality and good time management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We do not sponsor visas at this time.

To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held a license for more than 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.

All roles are subject to DBS/security checks prior to employment.
