Rate of Pay: £19.24 per hour

About the Role:

We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our team on a temporary full-time contract for an initial 3 months, with the possibility of extension. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in Children's Social Care, managing a dynamic Safeguarding Admin Team and contributing to the improvement of services within a busy and impactful department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of administrative professionals, delivering a customer-focused, efficient service.
2. Coordinate and communicate key information across senior management to ensure service improvement and compliance with policies.
3. Process financial transactions in line with relevant policies and procedures.
4. Work with social care systems, ensuring accurate data and effective team management.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

1. Experience in managing and motivating teams, ideally within a social care environment.
2. A strong understanding of safeguarding and social care systems.
3. Proven ability to manage financial transactions and ensure compliance with policies.
4. Excellent IT skills and the ability to handle and communicate complex information effectively.
5. A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to meet conflicting deadlines and demands.

This is a non-hybrid role, and you will be expected to work full-time in the office.
