Business Support Officer
Location: Bristol City Centre (BS1)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: 2 months ongoing
Pay: £15.66 per hour (LTD rate)

A public sector organisation based in central Bristol is seeking a proactive and organised Business Support Officer to provide high-level administrative support across a range of service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver business support services to both internal and external stakeholders
  2. Manage operational issues in real time following established procedures
  3. Handle enquiries and resolve escalated issues effectively
  4. Complete and reconcile financial transactions accurately
  5. Prepare documentation and maintain records to a high standard
  6. Drive continuous improvement of processes and support service delivery
  7. Communicate confidently with colleagues, management, and partner agencies

Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in an administrative or business support role
  2. Strong organisational, IT, and communication skills
  3. Ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems, and work independently
  4. Office-based role with potential travel to other sites as required
  5. A Basic DBS check may be required depending on service area
