Job Summary
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the field of healthcare? The British Bone Marrow Registry (currently undergoing a name change to the NHS Stem Cell Donor Registry) is seeking a Business Support Manager, dedicated to continuous improvement, to join our team. In this role, you will drive positive change and optimize our operations, while providing crucial business support to our registry services.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including medical professionals, data analysts, and IT specialists, to identify areas of improvement within our processes, systems, and overall operational efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the quality of our registry services, leading to improved patient outcomes and advancing life-saving treatments.
In addition to driving continuous improvement, you will provide essential business support to ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration. By joining our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the field of stem cell transplantation and contribute to the success of the British Bone Marrow Registry's mission to save lives.
The post requires considerable autonomy and initiative, as some of the work will take place remotely/virtually, so this post suits those who are confident in their abilities, happy to ask for guidance when necessary and relish the opportunity to take ownership of their deliverables.
This post is a fixed term post until the end of March 2026. A key project the post holder will be working on is a review of all BBMR controlled documents (SOP’s, LET’s, MPD’s etc), so significant experience of writing such documents, and experience of NHSBT’s document control QMS, would be a distinct advantage.
