Old Moat is looking for a part-time Business Support Lead to manage business support activities and assist Manchester residents in finding better employment opportunities. This role is essential in supporting the expansion of Ambition Manchester and fostering community growth. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, planning, and administrative skills, and be committed to enhancing services for residents.
About The Role
Working Hours: 17.5 Hours per week
Contract Type: Part-Time, Temporary until 31 January 2027
Additional Payments: Casual Car User Allowance

About the Candidate
Essential requirements for the role:
• Communication Skills: Good literacy skills to produce emails and other documentation.
• Planning and Organising: Provides work on time and to required standardand is capable of prioritising own workload to meet deadlines.
• Creative Skills: Ability to find solutions to situations that are presented of aroutine nature.
• ICT Skills: Ability to use multiple applications, systems and associatedsoftware packages.
• Administrative Skills: Ability to use and accurately maintain effectiveadministration systems in a rapidly changing environment.
Technical requirements:
• You will be required to have an enhanced disclosure check and will be helpedto apply if needed
• Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service
Desirable requirements that would be useful in this role:
• Social media marketing experience would be beneficial.
