Business Support Coordinator Part Time

Pay: £14.63 per hour, 18.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday

Location: Office-based only - Ipswich, no hybrid option

Length: 8 months

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Suffolk County Council for a temporary Business Support Coordinator to support the Business Support Manager, Head of Corporate Parenting, and the wider team with financial, administrative, and statistical duties to ensure efficient service operation. The Corporate Parenting Team is a countywide operational service supporting Fostering and Adoption, Leaving Care, UASC, and Children's Homes.

Typical responsibilities include undertaking a comprehensive range of administrative duties to support service delivery, managing specific processes in areas such as financial, IT, and HR, diary management, appointment setting, meeting arrangements, and minute-taking. Experience in minute-taking and coordinating meetings and diaries is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a business support environment, strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills, the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines, and excellent IT skills.

Face-to-face interviews and a basic DBS check required (we will carry out the checks if needed).
