Job description

Provide essential business support to East Midland’s Special Operations Unit

As Business Support Coordinator you will oversee the management of facilities to help maintain our force buildings, comply with Health and Safety, and ensure security measures are adhered to.

You will provide reception services using your excellent customer service skills to welcome visitors and provide administration support in a highly confidential environment.

This position is for 28 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate the maintenance of force buildings, including scheduling contractors to carry out works
  • Accurately inputting, updating and monitoring data in departmental databases
  • Support with administration of fleet vehicle related matters

The must haves

  • Have a good understanding of building maintenance, Health & Safety and reception duties
  • Experience of managing contracts to agreed specifications and seeking out value for money
  • Administration experience, with the ability to work to strict deadlines
