You will play a key role in the end-to-end change process, from supporting the effectiveness of our prioritisation process, to helping plan and understand work deliveries, to reporting progress through our change committee and then the exciting part - communicating the progress we are making against our strategic plan across our teams.

You’ll be a strategic thinker, who enjoys managing and growing stakeholder relationships, acting as a subject matter expert. The team is very small, so the successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives when pushing for better and working independently.

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.

You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here.

If we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.

What you’ll be doing
  • Own our prioritisation framework and process ensuring new requests for change, governance, supporting materials are all efficient and effective aligning to organisation standards and best practice
  • Using your strong analytical skills you’ll work across teams to review our change and backlog MI to spot trends and patterns helping us to work at pace to identify and fix problems and opportunities
  • You’ll help us improve our quarterly planning process which means you’ll have regular engagement with senior leadership, so a high standard of business writing, verbal communication and influencing skills are crucial
  • You’ll be spending time working across the Support leadership team bringing our strategic vision to life for our colleagues by creating and shaping communications, both written and visual
  • You’ll put your report writing experience to good use every month supporting the submission of papers into our Change Committee
  • You’ll support us shaping our future strategy & roadmap
