Business Support Assistant – Scan and Mail

Join to apply for the Business Support Assistant – Scan and Mail role at City of York Council.

This role involves providing administrative support within the Council's busy Scanning and Mail team, including processing mail, scanning and indexing documents, liaising with departments, facilitating goods movement, requisitioning, and offering advice to stakeholders. The position is primarily based at West Offices mailroom, with occasional work at Hazel Court EcoDepot.

Key requirements include strong team working skills, ICT literacy, ability to prioritize, and interpersonal skills. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential; the right values and a determination to succeed are prioritized.
