Job description

Contract Type: Permanent

Contract Hours: 37 per week

Salary: NJC Grade D SCP 7 £25,584 – £27,269

This post is open to employees currently On Notice/At Risk and Internal. Please note applications from employees currently On Notice/At Risk will be given priority. A resourceful and enthusiastic individual is required to provide administrative and technical support to the service. This may involve processing Planning, Building Control, and Land Charge Applications.

You will be involved in a wide range of duties including checking the validity of submitted applications and fees, taking telephone payments, and dealing with customers via telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries from internal service users.

You will be able to work under pressure, using your own initiative and with minimum supervision. You should be computer literate and have extensive customer and administrative experience.
