The University of Leeds is seeking a motivated Business Support Assistant to join the Campus Support Services team. This role involves coordinating training and development opportunities for staff, requiring excellent organisational and communication skills. The position offers a hybrid working model and generous holiday entitlements.
This role is available to current employees in the Facilities Directorate Services only.
Fixed-term for 12 months as the post is required to complete a specific task or time limited work, including the need for specific expertise or additional resource for a project. This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

We are looking for a highly organised and engaging individual to join our Campus Support Services team within the Facilities Directorate as a Business Support assistant (Training and Development). In this role, you'll be at the heart of organising and supporting a wide range of mandatory training and optional development opportunities for our staff.
As part of our team, you'll coordinate and track training requests across the Facilities Directorate, ensuring our staff have access to essential and professional development activities.
To thrive in this role, you'll need exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, along with experience in a business support or training/event planning role alongside experience of managing budgets. Your excellent organisational skills will enable you to arrange, track and conclude training records and proficiency with Microsoft applications and EQMS manager will be essential.
We're looking for someone with outstanding communication skills who can work independently, using their initiative and judgment to make decisions. You'll bring innovation and creativity to the table, adapting to diverse ways of working and contributing to our team's success.
Normal working hours will be 35 hours, between the core hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday with hybrid rota option available after completion of training.
