Pay Structure:

  • 16yrs – 17yrs: £7.71ph for 40 hours per week including time at college.
  • Over 18yrs: £10.71ph for 42.5 hours per week including time at college.
  • Over 21yrs: £12.21ph for 42.5 hours per week including time at college.

Tools, Chromebook, and uniform will be provided.

About the Role:

During your apprenticeship within the Belfast branch, you will be part of the Repairs and Maintenance team. The main duties will be supporting the team with general administration and planning. You will listen, observe, and participate in a range of tasks which will enable you to gain new skills and knowledge that contribute to the successful achievement of the apprenticeship programme.

You are expected to maintain high standards of attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance both in the workplace and at college. Ensure that all relevant work tasks and qualifications are achieved on time as instructed by your line manager and college. Attend informal and formal meetings and training sessions to ensure up-to-date business and job knowledge, communication, skills, and progression are maintained.

Role Criteria:

  • GCSE Grade 4 or above in both Maths and English
  • The ability to learn and develop a thorough knowledge of the skills, technology, and safety procedures required to carry out the full range of tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to understand and interpret work instructions
  • Be able to establish and maintain good customer/client relationships
  • Hardworking
  • Self-motivated
