JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Business Support and Administration Manager. The ideal candidate will have previous management and staff leadership experience, some project management experience (particularly building projects), and excellent communication and organisational skills.

As the Business Support and Administration Manager, you will be the key point of contact between the centralised Finance & HR teams and will be directly responsible for the strategic and operational management of the school business administration, supporting the overall management of the school.

Your responsibilities will include project management, providing accurate written guidance to the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring GDPR compliance within the school, and managing financial, personnel, and site management aspects of the extended schools provision.

DUTIES
  • Advising the senior leadership team and SSC on various matters to ensure the smooth running of the school
  • Training and inducting new office staff on the use of office and ICT equipment
  • Researching grants and funding sources; marketing the extended school service
  • Building close working relationships with the Senior Leadership Team and SSC
  • Reviewing resources and spending priorities to reflect the school development plan and budget
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in project management, particularly building projects
  • Ability to handle varied pressures and meet deadlines
  • Experience managing and leading staff
  • Personable, approachable, and able to explain complex issues
  • Proven experience in a relevant function
