The post is based at Russell House, Northampton, 25 hours weekly, 9:30am–2:30pm with flexible hours subject to service needs.

We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our friendly and supportive Leaving Care Business Support team. This rewarding role offers plenty of variety, opportunities to develop your skills, and the chance to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people from aged 16 to independent living.
You will be office based at Russell House, Northampton, and work 25 hours per week across five days. The standard working pattern is 9:30am to 2:30pm, with some flexibility around hours that can be discussed, subject to service needs.

Working within the Northamptonshire Children's Trust Leaving Care Team, this varied role combines administrative responsibilities, finance-related tasks and event coordination throughout the year.
A key part of the role involves supporting the delivery of statutory support and transition services for young people aged 16 to 25, helping to ensure they receive timely and effective assistance.
No two days are the same, with responsibilities including supporting practitioners with a range of multi-agency safeguarding meetings and ensuring accurate records are maintained through minute-taking and general administrative support.
Alongside this, you'll contribute to facilities management activities and support a variety of service projects, helping the team deliver positive outcomes for young people.
Strong organisational skills will be essential when managing accommodation bookings and coordinating interpretation services, while excellent communication skills will enable you to work effectively with colleagues, partner agencies and service users.
The role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, together with confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Teams.
