Business Studies Teacher (Full-Time, Temporary)

£31,650 - £43,606 per annum

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum requirement for this position is a suitable qualification to teach Business Studies i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS

The School and Role

ABC Teachers is recruiting for a passionate and committed Business Studies Supply Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Harborne from September 2025. This is a long-term, full-time role, ideal for a teacher looking to make a lasting impact within a supportive school community. Located in the leafy suburb of Harborne, this high-achieving secondary school is known for its excellent academic standards, inclusive values, and strong focus on pupil progress. The Business department is well-resourced and supported by a collaborative leadership team that values innovation in teaching and learning.

Requirements

The successful Business Studies Teacher will have;

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Business Studies to secondary students (KS3–KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
• Strong classroom management and planning skills
• A genuine passion for business education and student success
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
• All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
