Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd are recruiting a Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Harold Wood, RM3, from January 2027 on a maternity cover contract.

The successful candidate will teach Business Studies across KS3 and GCSE, deliver engaging and well-structured lessons, and support pupils to develop their knowledge and understanding of business. An enhanced DBS check is required and eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) confirmed.
• Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level.
• Experience teaching across KS3 and GCSE.
• Strong subject knowledge.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Commitment to pupil progress and achievement.
• Ability to teach Information Technology is desirable.
• Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

The successful Business Studies Teacher will teach Business Studies across KS3 and GCSE, delivering engaging and well structured lessons while supporting pupils to develop their knowledge and understanding of business.

The school also offers Computer Science at KS4, and the ability to teach some Information Technology would be desirable.
