Responsibilities of the Business Studies Teacher:

• Plan and deliver creative, informative Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Foster a love of learning and business acumen through real-life applications and interactive teaching.
• Track and assess students' progress, setting high expectations and offering support when needed.
• Contribute to the development of a modern, relevant Business Studies curriculum.
• Promote enterprise and entrepreneurial skills through enrichment opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with the department and wider school staff to drive academic excellence.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.

Requirements for the Business Studies Teacher:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Business Studies or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the national Business Studies curriculum and recent trends in business and economics.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply – full induction support will be provided.
