Job description

Job Title: Part-Time Business Studies Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a part-time Business Studies teacher to work at an excellent college in Hull. The role involves teaching three days per week (specific days to be confirmed), starting in September and lasting until Christmas, with potential for extension or permanence based on performance and mutual satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  1. Teaching Key Stage 5 students Business Studies, including A Level and BTEC Level 3 courses.
  2. Possibility of teaching additional subjects such as A Level Economics, which may increase working days.
  3. Planning and marking of student work, utilizing available resources on the shared system.
Location and Facilities:

The school is located in Hull, with a large onsite car park and accessible public transport options. It has strong links with other FE colleges, offering potential further employment opportunities.

Candidate Profile:
  • Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working in UK schools and teaching Business Studies to KS4 or KS5 students.
  • Desirable: Experience delivering the Read, Write, Inc. program.
  • Enhanced DBS, overseas police checks (if applicable), and professional references.
  • Full CV covering all employment history.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
