Role overview

You will be responsible for delivering well-structured, engaging lessons, supporting students' academic progression, and fostering a learning environment where ambition and achievement thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across A-Level, BTEC, or vocational Business Studies courses.
• Monitor and assess student progress through coursework, assignments, and examinations.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
• Support students with academic and career guidance.
• Ensure high standards of teaching and learning in line with college expectations.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behaviour.

Job Requirements:

• A degree or equivalent in Business Studies or a related field.
• Prior experience teaching Business Studies at post-16 or FE level.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current business trends and practices.
• Ability to teach both practical and theoretical content clearly and effectively.
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
