A popular, high-performing Secondary School in Lewisham are on the hunt for a Business Studies & Economics Teacher to join their growing team in September 2024.
Due to the rising uptake in both Business Studies and Economics, there is a lot of flexibility in terms of your timetable and the weighting towards either subject. The Head of Faculty is happy to play to the successful candidates strengths, so is very much focused on finding the right personality fit for the team.
If you’re an experienced Business Studies & Economics Teacher, you will be invited to teach as much KS5 as you wish, as well as options to take on BTEC and GCSE year groups. There are TLR’s available, for example Head of Economics, Lead BTEC Business Studies Teacher or Deputy HOY.
If you’re an ECT, KS5 is still an option for you depending on your strengths and confidence. You will be partnered with a subject ECT Mentor, as well as the school’s ECT Mentor and ECT support group.
Furthermore, candidates who are not interested in teaching Business Studies are invited to apply regardless, as there is flexibility to offer Economics with some KS3 Maths teaching.
