A high-performing, large AUM Hedge Fund is looking to hire a London-based Business Strategy Officer.
The role supports a variety of C-suite professionals, taking responsibilities off their plates and supporting a broad remit. Tasks include internal and external public relations, managing international expansion (such as new office launches in New York and the Middle East), liaising with regulators like the FCA, working with central banks, collaborating with HR on hiring strategies and D&I initiatives, and designing and implementing internal controls, reporting, and operational infrastructure. The work is primarily project-based, requiring research, analysis, and presentation of outcomes internally and externally.
The ideal candidate will have a first-class degree from a leading university, with over 5 years of relevant experience. Candidates with backgrounds in management consulting, currently working for top-tier consultancy firms, or project managers at investment banks are preferred. Candidates with experience in strategy teams at top-tier IBs or hedge funds are highly desirable. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
The role offers a total compensation package of £150,000 to £200,000 in the first year, with significant growth expected in subsequent years.
