Job summary

Globalpayer in London is seeking a Business and Strategy professional to join the International Strategy team, shaping strategy and execution priorities for the business and helping to guide global commerce.

You will own and drive discreet strategic projects across the lifecycle, refresh plans for International Platforms, monitor trends in payments, and assess market movements for products, partnerships and regional footprints. Hybrid role with Europe focus, potential ANZ engagements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategy and project-based business change delivery work.
• Extreme curiosity to understand underlying challenges and what needs to change.
• Strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities and translate them into discreet projects.
• Experience with quantitative market research and ISV-led payments and B2B2C models.
• Ability to navigate change in a global, evolving environment.

We’re looking for a Business and Strategy professional to become a core member of our International Strategy team, to shape and drive the strategy and execution priorities of our business and help shape the future of global commerce.

What You’ll Own

Our team defines and executes what the business needs most, so can be varied across functions and disciplines depending on the project.

Driving and supporting discreet projects to support the strategy. Full range of the project life-cycle from scope, initiate and execute strategic projects derived from the analysis

Owning and delivering aspects of periodic strategy refreshes for the International Platforms business.

Monitoring and analysing trends shaping the payments ecosystem, including changes in customer behaviour, technology, regulation, payment methods, distribution models, and industry economics.

Assessing the strategic implications of market movements for the company’s products, customers, partnerships, and geographic footprint.

Developing market expansion plans and requirements.

Identifying emerging opportunities and risks, distinguishing structural changes from short‑term market developments.

Producing and presenting concise, decision‑oriented reports and presentations for senior leadership.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in strategy and project‑based business change delivery work

• Experience of quantitative market research and knowledge of ISV‑led payments and B2B2C business models

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

About The Team

Our Strategy team for Platforms, International is responsible for the growth of our Platforms business outside of North America and Canada. The team is HQ'd out of London with a significant presence in Australia covering the needs of the ANZ organisation. This is a hybrid role based in London with responsibilities primarily within Europe, however as needs arise we support projects in ANZ too.
