Business Solution Design & Delivery Lead

As AXA XL continues to invest in its end-to-end capabilities, the Business Solution Design & Delivery Lead will support cross-functional/cross-BU programs in the solution design and delivery. Building on knowledge of processes and systems, they will partner with business units, IT, and other functions to guarantee the successful roll-out of the initiatives.

The Business Solution Design & Delivery Lead will autonomously shape and own Program-wide deliverables within the BSDD scope of work, which can entail the coordination of multiple sub-projects or workstreams for large transversal programs for AXA XL's most complex transformation initiatives. This can include coordinating and leading several internal or external team colleagues.

The candidate will be expected to self-direct and deliver solutions on large cross-functional programs. Coordination and program-wide leadership within BSDD deliverables and robust stakeholder management are key for successful delivery.

This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities to guarantee Operational Readiness in our programs of work, focusing on:

• Identifying business solutions to various problems through workshops and interviews, conducting analyses, and documenting deliverables. Managing C-suite level stakeholders to drive the best business outcome.
• Defining and documenting target designs and outcomes for strategic business decisions.
• Applying change management tools and methodologies to drive adoption and enable full benefit realization.
• Defining processes for continuous improvement.
• Acting as a Business Advisor and guaranteeing excellent quality in deliverables and documentation.
• Developing close relationships with key business stakeholders, acting as a thought partner and challenging to achieve the optimal business outcome.
• Understanding interdependencies between different change initiatives and managing them proactively. Owning the oversight of multiple change initiatives and developing a holistic change strategy targeted to your key stakeholder community.
• Providing guidance and assistance to other key team members in development roles or opportunities.

In this role, you will report to the Team Lead of Business Solution Design and Delivery.

We’re looking for someone with these abilities and skills:

Technical Skills:

We seek a candidate with certification and experience in one or more of the following fields:

• Excellent Change Management skills, experience in assessing change impact, and delivering change management activities targeted to various stakeholder groups. PROSCI certification is a plus.
• Excellent skills in Process Definition and Continuous Improvement. Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Solid experience in consulting roles, equipped with tools and techniques for status assessments, solutioning, visualization, and implementation of business problems. Maintain and promote a consultancy background, always striving for high-quality output.

Other skills:

• Significant experience in driving large-scale programs covering multiple dimensions (LoBs, geographies, or functions) in the insurance industry within an international environment, along with relevant experience.
• Effective in documenting and visualizing design decisions and progress status.
• Strong mentoring skills, acting as a role model and supporting junior colleagues in project execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, acting as a stimulating partner to achieve optimal business outcomes.
• Robust analytical, conceptual, and solutioning skills, complemented by effective social/soft skills. Ability to act as a credible partner to business functions and to dissent when necessary.
