Job description

Job Title: Business Skills Coach

We are seeking a Business Skills Coach to join our friendly team and deliver high-quality training programs aimed at developing apprentices' knowledge, skills, and behaviors for Level 3 and 5 Leadership and Management programs.

Responsibilities
  1. Complete apprentice learning, assessments, reviews, and completions efficiently, exceeding quality standards.
  2. Support the entire learner journey, from Gateway preparation to delivering professional feedback.
  3. Provide exceptional learning experiences and guidance to ensure apprentices achieve their standards and qualifications.
Location

Hybrid working model with remote work and occasional travel to customer sites and our central London office. Travel expenses are paid.

Core Tasks
  • Develop and deliver personalized learning programs.
  • Contribute to assessment, onboarding, and induction processes.
  • Provide coaching, arrange visits, and support workplace skill development.
  • Assess apprentices, give feedback, and utilize e-portfolios.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and generate qualification evidence.
  • Use virtual environments to support learning.
  • Deliver face-to-face and virtual classroom sessions.
  • Track progress, conduct reviews, and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records and support program development.
  • Engage in CPD, attend meetings, and support other programs as needed.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified trainer and assessor with experience in Level 3 and 5 Apprenticeships.
  • Experience in a senior management role.
  • Effective caseload management skills.
  • Proficiency with technology for service delivery.
  • Proven track record as a good or outstanding trainer/assessor.
  • Target-driven with a history of achieving goals.
  • Excellent written skills for feedback and objectives.
  • Delivery experience of Level 5 Coaching Apprenticeships is desirable.
  • Experience with Ofsted inspections and ESFA funding is a plus.
Additional Information

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, requiring an enhanced DBS disclosure.
