The Business Services Manager will oversee accounting and finance operations within the professional services industry, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients. Responsibilities
  • Management of own client portfolio, being the main point of contact for the business
  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns
  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • Personal Tax Return Preparation
  • Providing commercial business support to clients
  • Experience in dealing with Company Secretarial matters
  • Supervising junior members of the team and reviewing their work
  • Working together with a Team of Managers
  • Tax advantaged share schemes e.g. EMI share options
  • Venture capital schemes e.g. EIS/SEIS
  • R&D and Creative Industries tax relief claims (including video games tax reliefs)
  • Involvement with business development activities
Profile / Qualifications
  • Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (AAT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in managing accounting and finance operations within the professional services industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
