Job description

Business & Sales Manager

Salary: £41,009 - £44,500 per annum (placement will be dependant on experience)

Full-time: 35 hours per week

This is an exciting new opportunity with the City of Glasgow International Limited, based at the City of Glasgow College's Riverside Campus, for an experienced Business and/or Sales Manager with a background in commercial training.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level and/or hold an appropriate professional qualification, such as from the Chartered Institute of Management or Chartered Management Institute.
  • Significant experience in developing, deploying, and leading a diverse team.
  • Proven ability to deliver customer excellence and increase revenue streams.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with industry partners to deliver innovative learning opportunities, especially around Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) short courses.
  • Ideally, a track record in business development or improvement, with experience in generating income from overseas or new partnerships, and holding a relevant professional qualification.
