Job Description:
The BIAM team is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the T&S Compliance & Risk framework. The team acts as the business focal point for all LoB Compliance & Risk management activities, ensuring commercial teams understand the risks across the Life of a Deal ("LoaD") and liaising with LoD2 Risk Type Advisors (RTAs), including Compliance and Operational Risk.
Responsibilities include providing support for compliance & risk policy implementation, control design and testing, RCSAs, risk event management, issue management, remediation, and risk reporting. The BRM works closely with LoD2 Compliance, Operational Risk, and other RTAs for SME advice, support, review, challenge, and approvals where necessary.

Job Summary:
We seek a detail-oriented Business Risk Manager to join the Shell Energy Europe and Africa team within Business Integration and Assurance (BIA). The role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in energy trading activities, requiring knowledge of energy markets, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Role Details:
This position reports to the GM BIA SE EA & EPT and is part of the first line of defense in the three lines model. It is a business partnering role, responsible for ensuring that commercial teams understand and manage risks across the Life of a Deal ("LoaD"). The BRMs support cross-line governance and projects, working in dedicated areas like EPT & B2B.
