Your work will help safeguard critical services and ensure the bank can respond effectively to disruptions while minimising impact to our stakeholders.

Key requirements include:

• Proven track record of providing thought leadership and designing business architecture.
• Experience leading across the delivery lifecycle, from design to documenting requirements, managing solution implementation, and testing across multiple functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage issues in high-pressure environments.

Valued skills may include understanding Operational Resilience, regulatory landscape, and stakeholder management experience. The role is based in Knutsford/Glasgow.

Purpose of the role

Develop, implement, and maintain an effective resilience strategy, operational recovery planning, and incident management framework to enable the bank to respond and recover from severe but plausible scenarios, minimising impact.

Accountabilities include:

• Socialising and implementing resilience strategies and frameworks across the firm.
• Enhancing crisis and incident management capabilities.
• Standardising operational recovery planning and security incident management.
• Overseeing recovery capability improvements, including third-party providers.
• Communicating resilience status through dashboards for decision-making.
• Testing resilience and recovery capabilities regularly.
• Ensuring services are built resiliently through change management processes.
• Staying updated on resilience developments, regulations, and industry trends.
• Responding to incidents and threats promptly and effectively.
• Documenting incidents and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
