The Role:

This exciting role, leading a small team and reporting to the Hospital Manager, is key in driving growth and increasing referrals across all payor channels by developing stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.

The Business Relations Manager is primarily based on-site, with travel to regional stakeholders. The role involves increasing referrals and revenue by building strong relationships within the healthcare community.

You will organize educational events and develop referral opportunities between consultants, GPs, and external stakeholders through various communication methods, both virtual and face-to-face.

You will assist in developing an engagement strategy and delivering promotional activities, utilizing analytics and data insights to optimize resource use and identify business development opportunities aligned with the hospital’s strategic plan.

What you’ll do:
  1. Develop and execute a growth strategy.
  2. Build long-term partnerships with referrers to drive revenue into Ramsay Health Care.
  3. Explore opportunities to collaborate with other Business Relationship Managers.
  4. Organize and facilitate accredited clinical education for primary care stakeholders using virtual and face-to-face methods.
  5. Undertake market and competitor analysis to identify target areas and opportunities for growth.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business objectives.
  7. Understand the hospital’s facilities, services, and consultants to effectively promote capabilities.
  8. Record activities within Ramsay’s CRM system, meeting KPIs.
  9. Engage with the contracts team to maximize opportunities with PMI contracts and networks.
  10. Update marketing collateral using the Brandhub platform.
  11. Support the rollout of national marketing strategies through local campaigns and events.
  12. Provide line management for the Private Patient Team.
  13. Design and deliver company strategies.
What you’ll bring with you:
  • Experience in healthcare or a related sales/business development role.
  • Strong organizational skills and results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • CRM experience and knowledge of the healthcare market.
  • Experience in data analysis, event management, and creating outcome reports.
