Job description

Your new company
I am currently working closely with 3 SME's in the market whom are seeking Business Rates Surveyors to join their businesses. The clients are working closely across Retail, Leisure, Commercial and Industrial.

Your new role

  • Provide tailored rates appeal and mitigation advice to major clients across various sectors within commercial real-estate
  • Manage your own client portfolio, built from existing/ new business
  • Client facing/ stakeholder management
  • Assist and advise developer and landlord clients throughout the development cycle, including deletion/RV appeals, completion notices and mitigation strategies
  • Preparing documents for tribunal cases

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2+ years' experience in Business Rates surveying
  • Knowledge and understanding of rating legislation and case law
  • Proven experience in providing rating advice and negotiating appeals
  • MRICS qualification is desirable, but not essential

What you'll get in return
