You will be responsible for the co-ordination and liaison with clients for all business rates inspections across the whole of the WSP GL Hearn portfolio and updating the team’s database with the details of the inspection. To work with the Case Valuers, Business Rates Administration Team, local Rating support, Referencing Support Co-ordinator and external clients.

Key responsibilities of the role would be:

  • Arranging inspections for various property types throughout England, Wales & Scotland to support the Case Valuers at GL Hearn in their negotiations in seeking to secure agreement of business rates assessments.
  • Maintaining and updating GL Hearn databases with details of surveys, photographs and drawings of the properties inspected.
  • Working within the Business Rates Team but will require independent working and management of time.
  • Clear and accurate production of spreadsheets for various individuals
  • Timely and accurate reporting to both Internal/External Clients and Case Valuers with some problem/enquiry solving.
  • Accurate maintenance of the GL Hearn Information Management System (GLHIMS) along with responding to business rated enquiries, both internal and external.
