Job description

Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our IT team, focusing on our in-house workflow and business process software. The role involves working in an Agile Scrum environment to scope, project manage, and implement business improvements for our external client. Responsibilities include business analysis, designing workflows, scripting, testing, documentation, and client support both remotely and on-site.

This position is home-based with visits to our Bristol office and the client’s Leeds office at least once a month or as needed.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the client and IT team to gather requirements and prepare documentation.
  2. Design and develop technical workflows using in-house systems, incorporating documents, Q&A, decision mapping, and scripting.
  3. Mentor team members and support their development.
  4. Create and update document templates using logic, scripting, and Word Code.
  5. Coordinate with the IT team to integrate workflows into applications and existing codebases.
  6. Communicate regularly with stakeholders through documentation, calls, and Agile ceremonies.
  7. Build strong relationships with clients, offering technical advice and solutions.
  8. Document processes and notes thoroughly.
  9. Lead project delivery using project management skills.
  10. Participate actively in daily Scrum meetings.
  11. Assist management with additional duties as appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Technically minded, self-motivated, and logical.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Visio.
  • Attention to detail at both granular and high levels.
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective communicator with diverse audiences.
  • Interest in Project Management, Business Analysis, or Testing is a plus.
  • Proactive problem solver.
  • Experience in workflow development.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Filestream and Filestream Designer.
  • Experience in legal or insurance sectors is preferred.
