Business Operations Manager
Location: Remote 12 Month Contract
About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Operations Manager to join our Business Operations Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of an $85 Million Budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement globally aligned processes for resource demand planning and forecasting.
- Create and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Analyse and report on GSPV operational and fiscal performance.
- Provide training assistance for newly developed financial processes.
- Support policies and procedures to streamline billing and collection processes.
Reporting Structure:Reports to: Head of Business Operations
Positions reporting into this role: Business Operations Analyst
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain the budget, focusing on forecasting, resource management, and financial review and reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy of global budgets before submission to Finance.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to incorporate necessary elements into the platform budget.
- Liaise with Finance to align GSPV program budgets with program strategy.
- Provide financial inputs into the R&D finance process.
- Prepare business analyses to support decisions, including functional resourcing models and vendor due diligence.
- Generate executive-level reports for the leadership team, ensuring accurate financial results.
Qualifications and Experience:- Education: Degree in Business, Scientific, Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Financial discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years managing departmental budgets, with proven financial acumen and experience with industry tools (e.g., Ariba, SAP, Smartcore, BPC, Clarity).
- Competencies: Advanced Excel and financial system expertise, independent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
