Business Process Consultant

Job Title: Business Process Consultant - Outside IR35
Location: on site 3 days per week - Hertfordshiire
Salary/Rate: £450/day - outside IR35
Start Date: 26/05/2025
Duration: 6 months


We are looking for a Business Process consultant to join our client on a 6 month contract working outside IR35!

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

1. Lead and support end-to-end process documentation across departments and regions, ensuring clarity, consistency, and global alignment.
2. Develop and maintain the Global Process Matrix, mapping ownership, system usage, and integration points across functions.
3. Use Celonis or other process mining tools to analyse real execution data, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
4. Facilitate workshops and interviews with SMEs and business leaders to gather process insights.
5. Collaborate with IT, Operations, Finance, and other key stakeholders to ensure process designs support broader business goals.
6. Support global transformation initiatives, including ERP deployments and continuous improvement programs.
7. Contribute to global process governance frameworks and standard operating procedure (SOP) libraries.
8. Provide input to change management and training materials as new processes are rolled out.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Proven experience in business process consulting, process documentation, or operational excellence roles.
2. Demonstrated ability to document and model processes using BPMN or similar frameworks.
3. Experience building or managing Global Process Matrices or similar governance structures.
4. Celonis experience required
5. Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
6. Proficient in using tools such as Visio, ARIS, Signavio, or Lucidchart.
7. Comfortable working in a global, matrixed environment.

Desired/bonus experience:

1. Experience with SAP S/4HANA .
2. Business-level proficiency in German or French.
