Business Process Architect – Procurement

Location – Manchester

Additional Locations – Slough/Verviers/Porrino/Gelen

As part of our ongoing pursuit of excellence, we will be kicking off a significant Transformation Project to introduce S/4HANA, and as such we have created several positions to support this enterprise project.

Role Purpose:

The BPA P2P will play a critical role in the optimization and implementation of P2P processes, focusing on direct procurement and master data. This role requires collaborating with multi-functional teams to craft, develop, and implement robust P2P solutions.

This role provides the chance to be part of a significant ERP transformation project involving brand new SAP technologies. The role plays a crucial part in making sure that the organization demonstrates S/4HANA to drive business value and operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible to provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in Procurement as well as associated Supply Chain and Invoicing / Payment processes and Master Data knowledge (with a focus on direct procurement)
  • Partner with team members to grasp and document needs
  • Analyze existing Procurement as well as associated Supply Chain and Invoicing / Payment processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Rethink existing Procurement as well as associated Supply Chain and Invoicing / Payment processes and design new solutions with other stream members
  • Map future Procurement as well as associated Supply Chain and / Payment processes within the new S/4HANA system
  • Create and maintain documentation of future Procurement as well as associated Supply Chain and Invoicing processes
  • Review and verify prototypes with site customers and enabling functions

Key requirements:

  • Clear grasp of direct procurement, connections with supply chain and master data
  • Proficiency in SAP procurement, knowledge of S4Hana preferred
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Experience in a full SAP implementation lifecycle preferred
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
