Albany Beck is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Analyst to join our team, working on a long-term digital transformation programme with one of our largest wealth management clients. This role focuses on a client portal project aimed at providing their clients across banking and investments with a single web/mobile portal experience. The position involves working on the business side of the digital transformation programme.

Role Overview:

As a Business Process Analyst, you will play a key role in driving the success of the digital transformation initiative. You will collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements, define business processes, and ensure the delivery of solutions that meet client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the business analysis workstream for the client portal project.
• Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather insights and align stakeholders.
• Develop process models, use cases, user stories, and workflow diagrams.
• Map and analyze current business processes across key areas.
• Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.
• Design future-state processes aligned with digital tools.
• Ensure process design aligns with business goals and compliance requirements.
• Work with product owners to prioritize requirements and manage backlogs.
• Support development and testing teams by clarifying requirements.
• Identify risks and dependencies, providing proactive solutions.
• Contribute to change management activities for smooth adoption.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in digital transformation, ideally within wealth management or financial services.
• Experience with client portal projects or similar digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of process mapping methodologies (e.g., BPMN) and tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
• Experience with CRM, workflow automation, or client onboarding solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., process mapping, user stories, Jira).
• Experience working with Agile methodologies in cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
• Knowledge of financial sector regulations and compliance is a plus.
