Business Process Analyst – 11 Months Contract – Oxford

Essential Skills:

Business processes, product management within heavy-duty goods, automotive, or aerospace; Jira, Visio, Lucidcharts; strong documentation; ability to work with a greenfield client; BI tools like Power BI; Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Process Analysis: Map, analyze, and redesign current-state business processes to enhance operational efficiency and scalability across the product development lifecycle.
  2. Operational Insights: Identify performance gaps and bottlenecks by analyzing operational data, KPIs, and business metrics.
  3. Requirements Documentation: Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and process documentation to support internal systems, tools, and workflows.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and proper implementation of business processes.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Lead and support initiatives for continuous process improvement using methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  6. Project Support: Contribute to business operations and strategic projects, including process audits, internal tool implementations, and organizational readiness initiatives.
  7. Change Management: Support change management activities by developing training materials, user guides, and stakeholder communication plans in conjunction with the change team.
Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or Process Analyst in a product-driven or fast-paced environment.
  3. Strong experience with business process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).
  4. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or similar.
  5. Knowledge of workflow systems (e.g., JIRA) and experience working in Agile environments.
  6. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
