Job Description

As part of the Business Planning Analyst role, your accountabilities will be as follows:

  1. Ascertaining medium to long term capacity requirements of the business and interpreting these into meaningful business plans to support our stakeholders in decision-making processes.
  2. Building and administering capacity models from 8 weeks to 5 years.
  3. Producing MI reports, analyzing and interpreting data for stakeholders, and presenting this information to obtain buy-in based on proposals.
  4. FTE tracking and ensuring data accuracy across Planning, Finance, and HR.
  5. Actively participating in the achievement of the Operational Planning mission statement: ‘Foster an efficient environment where engaged people deliver superior service’.

Qualifications

  • Previous capacity planning experience within medium to long-term planning.
  • Stakeholder management experience at 'Head of Department' level and above.
  • The ability to show flexibility in communication approaches, including framing information differently for a broad audience.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Technical knowledge of data and long-term capacity planning.
  • Knowledge of forecasting techniques, including manual forecasting using advanced Excel and Erlang models, and modeling forecasts derived from historic data and statistics from platforms like WFM, ACD, CRM, etc.
