About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Partner to act as a bridge between our Support functions (HR, Finance, Logistics, and Central Operations) and the technology delivery organization.
Position Overview:
As the Business Partner – Support Service, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of technology solutions that improve the efficiency of our Support Service functions. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to understand their needs, drive innovation, and deliver comprehensive solutions that optimize processes and enhance overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for digital solutions within our Support functions, aligning with the company's objectives and market trends.
- Solution Development: Lead the design and development of innovative digital solutions, leveraging advanced technologies and data analytics to streamline operations.
- System Integration: Oversee the seamless integration of digital solutions with existing business systems.
- Partnership Management: Cultivate strong relationships with internal departments, external partners, and third-party vendors to collaborate on solution development, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of digital solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to optimize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that all digital solutions comply with industry regulations and standards, as well as company policies, regarding data privacy, security, and confidentiality.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and external stakeholders on the use and maintenance of digital solutions, fostering adoption and maximizing value.
- Project Management: Manage projects, including resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation, ensuring they add business value.
- Continuous Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation and thought leadership within the organization.
Main Duties
About You
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in digital solutions management, ideally within the automotive sector.
- Strong technical background with expertise in software development, system integration, and data analysis.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in partnership management, including vendor selection, negotiation, and collaboration.
- Understanding of industry regulations and standards related to garage management and logistics, focusing on compliance and security.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Relevant certifications such as Prince2, ITIL are a plus.
- Flexibility to commute to Chester Service Centre when required.
